One Voice Community Choir is about creating a sense of belonging and friendship, reconnecting to our selves and to the cycle of the year. We meet every 2 weeks in St Gluvias Hall in Penryn. On the 8 festivals around the year we sing in Churches in the beautiful cornish countryside creating rituals involving lots of Singing and simple symbolic actions, that help us to remember what’s important in life.
The choir is led by Kin Thiessen who has been running community choirs since 2010. Kin has been a musician for more than 40 years, and has composed for choir, singer songwriters, film and theatre.
He also runs sacred singing circles, with devotional music and mantra from around the world.
